CHAIR

Ralph Devlin AM QC

Former Major Events Board Chair for the Sunshine Coast 2013-2020 and former Surf Life Saving Queensland President 2011-2016 and Australian Surf Life Saving Deputy President 2013-2016. Ralph has a lifetime involvement in the Performing Arts.

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Louise King

A concert, recording and teaching artist and event producer based on the Sunshine Coast. A refined English cellist with extensive international experience and training, her work involves advocacy for regional artists and building new audiences for the performing arts in the region.  

VICE CHAIR

Lyn Cheetham

Recently re-settled in Maroochydore after a long period working overseas, Lyn has been the CEO of a large Education corporation. Lyn served on the University Council, the University of the Sunshine Coast governing body, and presently audits international schools worldwide. Lyn is an expert in Governance and a trained classical musician.

COMPANY SECRETARY

Phoebe Miller

Solicitor of Butler McDermott Solicitors, Nambour. Phoebe is a local Property and Commercial Lawyer, and operates on a number of Not For Profit Boards. But, more importantly, she is a musician and a passionate devotee of Chamber Music.

Victoria Berry

An experienced accountant and tax professional who is the Director of Business Advisory and Taxation at HBA Encompass. Victoria has held board positions with a range of Not for Profit Organisations on the Sunshine Coast and Gladstone Regions.

David Hopper

Former Executive of the Major Events Unit, Sunshine Coast Regional Council. David has extensive experience in tourism and major event attraction, sponsorship and executive management in the not for profit , public and private sectors. David has lived on the Sunshine Coast for over 20 years and has wide-ranging and valuable networks.

Claire Booth

Having commenced her career studying music, Claire went on to hold executive arts and event management roles including CEO, Queensland Symphony Orchestra;  Founding General Manager, Queensland Music Festival and Director of Events, Department of the Premier and Cabinet, Queensland Government. Claire has long been involved in the arts life of Maleny where she now lives.
