Nadia Sunde, Voice/Narrator

Internationally awarded songwriter, acclaimed vocalist, cabaret artist, published childrens author, comedienne, ABC radio personality and music educator, Nadia Sunde is passionate about creating music and theatre experiences that inspire and connect people of all ages.


Beginning her performing career 18 years ago, Nadia toured the Australian folk circuit as the lead vocalist and bass player with folk/roots group Spot The Dog. Recording two albums and winning vocalist awards, she soon became a festival favourite, which continued as she recorded and toured her first solo album (The Spark) in 1999. During her time within the Australian contemporary music scene, Nadia was acclaimed for her powerful stage presence, beautiful songs and divinely warm and soulful voice.


Between 2003 & 2011, Nadia became a household name in her home of South East Queensland as a presenter/producer for ABC Coast FM (91.7 Gold Coast and 90.3 & 95.3 Sunshine Coast).


With the arrival of motherhood, Nadia joyfully began to craft songs for her own children. These songs became her multi award winning album Homespunrecorded and produced by virtuoso guitarist Michael Fix.


In 2012 Nadia launched her new musical comedy for children and families, Nadia & The Blue Flamingowith sellout debut performances at the Melbourne Recital Centres MusicPlay Festival.


The recipient of a Regional Arts Development Fund towards her new adult contemporary album, Nadia is currently in pre-production with producer and multi Golden Guitar winner Michael Fix, recording in August with a stellar ensemble of Queensland based musicians.
